Last Friday, EduDesign Caribbean conducted an ABC (demonstration of professional competences) assessment for the Un Komienso Nobo project. An ABC trajectory is similar in form to an EVC trajectory, only it may not be called an EVC. This is partly due to the standard used (final attainment levels, qualification dossier). The advantage of an ABC route is that only the competences the candidate needs to function in his profession are measured. An assistant carpenter took the assessment at Foundation Funditut. Another assessment ‘assistant car painter’ will follow this month.
